William and Joy Sparks concert
The first in our recital series named after William and Joy Sparks, who were highly valued members of the Friends of Music, was last week. The series allows some of our senior musicians the chance to present a full recital to an appreciative audience in Cedars Hall. The concert featured Natalie D (Lower Sixth) on flute and Asa E-G (Upper Sixth) on French Horn, who both performed excellently.
Alex Laing, Director of Music, said: “It was super to see and hear Asa and Natalie both perform with such skill, creativity and quality. It is quite an undertaking to deliver programmes as complete as they both did and they also performed together at the end which was a joy.”
