TCA Southwest Schools’ Bouldering League
The School’s climbing team competed in the first round of the Southwest Schools’ Bouldering League (SSBL) in October.
Travelling to The Climbing Academy’s centre in Bristol, ten pupils individually competed at The Mothership with other schools competing alongside. Tasked with 25 problems ranging from 6a to 7c, they were challenged to complete each on the first attempt. The second round will take place on the 3rd of December with the third and fourth being held next year.
Mr Dosanjh commented, “The pupils climbed exceptionally well given the difficulty of the problems and I’m immensely proud of their perseverance. It was very impressive the way pupils of all abilities gave it a go.”
