Emma shines at National Youth Music Competition
We are thrilled for Emma S (Lower Sixth) who competed in the National Youth Music Competition (NYMC) in South Africa last month, achieving the gold medal as the competition’s overall winner. Emma was awarded the prize for the best performance of a South African work, the Polina Burdukova prize for the best performance of a work by a Russian composer by a string instrumentalist and the prize for the best performance of a concerto in the final round. Her prize money totalled over £2300!
