U15 Rugby team play in National Plate Quarter Final

On Wednesday 22nd January, our Boys’ U15A Rugby team took on Ravens Wood School in the Quarter Final of the National Plate competition.

The large crowd of friends, family and sports enthusiasts were captivated by the work rate and commitment of this exceptionally dedicated team.

With the result coming down to an extremely close 12-14, Head Master Mr Tighe expressed:

We are all so very proud of the achievement of the team. The boys have shown such resilience, determination and passion throughout the competition and not least in this week’s Quarter Final match. I know that they will be hurting and disappointed by the result, but they are to be commended for being so magnanimous in defeat. As I said to the Senior School in Assembly, they represented themselves and the School with real distinction and I have every confidence that they will emerge from this experience stronger and more determined than ever. So very well done indeed, and thank you to them, and their coaches, for inspiring us all.”
