Years 5 and 6 career talk takes flight
Pupils in Years 5 and 6 learned all about the pathways to becoming a pilot when Mr Blee, an EasyJet pilot, delivered a careers talk. Mr Blee described which route he took and the qualities he needed to become an airline pilot, including resilience, curiosity and motivation to learn and keep learning, as well as the requirement to pass a fitness test every six months to retain his passenger airline licence. The session ended with a Q&A from the children. We would like to say a huge thank you to Mr Blee for giving up his time to talk to our pupils about such an exciting career.
