OW Abi fundraises to fix well
We are celebrating OW Abi Beech (2024)’s efforts to reinstate a well in Madagascar. Abi visited Madagascar as part of our biodiversity research expedition in collaboration with Operation Wallacea in the summer of 2023. The village well near the camp the group were staying at wasn’t working and there was no local access to clean water. On her return to School, Abi cut off her hair to raise money to fix the well. Her efforts totalled £2500 and the water is now back in full flow!
