Teacher of Science with Chemistry or Physics specialism
part-time from September 2025
Wells Cathedral School seeks an enthusiastic teacher with a commitment to delivering their subject with enthusiasm and energy through a wide variety of teaching and learning styles. The ideal candidate will feel confident to teach Chemistry or Physics to all levels and abilities, including preparing pupils for Oxbridge applications, medicine, engineering and science-related courses. The successful candidate will have a passion to take the subject beyond the confines of the classroom syllabus and provide opportunities for pupils to gain a broader appreciation of real-world applications for the physical sciences.
Applications are equally welcome from suitably experienced teachers, ECTs and those without formal teaching qualifications.
