Rotterdam Hockey tour
Over the Easter break, forty-four pupils and six members of staff travelled to Rotterdam in the Netherlands for a five-day Hockey tour. They were fortunate to play three fixtures at different Hockey clubs across the city where the pupils were amazed by the facilities on show. Hosted so well by all of the clubs, our pupils particularly enjoyed the post-game interactions with the opposition players.
Apart from the matches, our pupils were also fortunate enough to have a training session at the famous Rotterdam Hockey Club’s main pitch led by two Dutch U21 Hockey players. They were also lucky to watch two premier league Hockey fixtures.
However it wasn’t all Hockey with fun activities like a trip to a water park, a cultural bike tour of Rotterdam and glow-in-the-dark golf!
