RCM Festival of Percussion
Wellensians past and present gathered at the Royal College of Music (RCM) for their Festival of Percussion on Sunday 11th May. Barnaby D and Alex S (Lower Sixth) spent the day with OWs Jas Kayser (2014), Luke McCarthy (2022) and Kizzy Brooks (2012), as well as Stan Talman (2021), Harry Gong (2023) and Wilamena Dyer (2024) who are currently studying at the RCM, all of whom ensured our pupils had a wonderful day! Additionally, Shanna F (Year 8) performed in a National Youth Brass Band of Great Britain (NYBBGB) and The Royal Corps of Army Music sell-out joint concert at Halifax Minster on Sunday 11th May.
