CCF learn to climb in Snowdonia
This Exeat weekend, seven of our climbers in the Combined Cadet Force (CCF) travelled to Snowdonia to take their climbing to the next level by learning to lead climb outdoors. They were treated to wall-to-wall sunshine as they climbed on the famous slate, quartzite and limestone routes of North Wales. Congratulations to all of them, who climbed brilliantly and, more importantly, conducted themselves not as a School group, but as experienced and trusted climbers — allowing us to access venues rarely open to schools.
