Mrs Connock completes Great Bristol Run
Congratulations to our Senior School Head of Mathematics, Mrs Connock, who ran a half marathon in Bristol on Sunday!
Mrs Connock says:
“I just wanted to thank all of you for your words of encouragement and sponsorship ahead of the Bristol half marathon. I can’t quite believe I ran 13 miles but delighted that I did. I raised far more than expected for Cancer Research so a huge thank you. It’s amazing what you can do when you have a focus. Now onto the next challenge…“
With the help of a bake sale held by the girls in Edwards House, Mrs Connock’s £200 target was met in cakes and cookies, which means that her JustGiving page is nearing £1000 in donations! We are so proud of her and the way the Wells community has come together to show their support.
