Wells is commended for Outstanding Fundraising Achievement
We’re delighted to share that Wells Cathedral School has been commended in the Independent School of the Year Awards for Outstanding Fundraising Achievement.
The recognition celebrates The Event – our pupil-led music festival, organised entirely by our Heads of School with support from pupils across the Prep and Senior Schools.
Every performance helps raise funds for our long-standing Sierra Leone Project, providing scholarships for young people to access education and specialist music training at the Ballanta Academy of Music and Performing Arts and the JT Reffell French Memorial School in Freetown.
