Year 10 Photography trip to Fox Talbot Museum

Year 10 Photography pupils visited the Fox Talbot Museum in Wiltshire. They viewed a display of historical artefacts that took them through the evolution of the medium, from the very first negative captured with a small wooden box to the development of more and more complex and beautiful cameras, ending at the digital age. They also learned how the early colour photographs were created in the 1940s at the upper floor gallery’s display of Magnum photographer Werner Bischof’s images. We are so lucky to be so near to the home of the inventor of Photography!
