Choristers sing at Primary Music Outreach Concert
The Junior Choristers joined forces with over 120 local school children for the Cathedral’s termly Primary Music Outreach Concert on Friday. The programme, A Christmas Celebration, ushered in the festive season with carols old and new, and was thoroughly enjoyed by parents and visitors to the Cathedral. The Juniors sang Michael Head’s The Little Road to Bethlehem on their own, before joining with the visiting children for Audrey Snyder’s arrangement of In the Bleak Midwinter, and the whole Nave singing Away in the Manger to round the concert off.
