Prep School ‘Trashion Show’
Years 4 and 6 unleashed their inner Cocos, Christians, Viviennes and Valentinos — but with one big difference: the materials they had to work with consisted of the contents of your average recycling bin! But who needs silks and fine lace when you have tinfoil, cardboard and bubble wrap?
The children showed off their creativity and endeavour by fashioning outfits and accessories worthy of the runway. The final ‘Trashion Show’ featured everything from ‘acrylic’ nails to cardboard mules, bin liner ball gowns to tinfoil fascinators, and crisp packet mini-skirts to bottle-top buttons.
