Lower Sixth Oxford trip
A group of aspiring Oxbridge applicants enjoyed our annual trip to University of Oxford, designed to give pupils a real insight into university life and the unique collegiate system.
The day began with a fascinating two-hour walking tour led by a post-doctoral student specialising in medieval history, who brilliantly intertwined the rich history of the university with an insight into how Oxford operates today. From ancient traditions and stunning architecture to student life, teaching, and the collegiate experience, pupils were given a vivid picture of what studying at Oxford might truly look like.
The pupils were incredibly engaged throughout the day, asking thoughtful questions and embracing the opportunity to explore one of the world’s most renowned universities. It was a wonderfully inspiring experience and a valuable opportunity to help inform the exciting choices that lie ahead.
