Be a Chorister for a Day
20th September @ 12:45 pm - 5:30 pm

If you would like to experience a day in the life of a Chorister, please come along to this fun day, during which children aged 6 – 9 years old are invited to spend a day at Wells Cathedral. The experience includes singing games, learning about the cathedral and finding out what a Chorister really does.
Refreshments are provided for the children and parents are invited to have afternoon tea in the historic Vicars’ Hall before the Evensong service.
Families are encouraged to also attend our Autumn Open Morning (10.00am-1.00pm) if they have not attended an Open Day already. We appreciate this is a long day for young children, so if you would prefer a tour of the School on another day, please do let us know.
Here is a link to further information about Choristerships, including a wonderful short video of the Choristers explaining how they feel about Chorister life in their own words.
If you would like to register for a place for 2025, please contact Melanie Lawlor via [email protected].
