Brass players work with Tim Thorpe
On Tuesday 11th June, we welcomed Tim Thorpe, Principal Horn of the BBC National Orchestra of Wales, for a day of masterclasses and ensemble and sectional coaching.
Tim, a former student of our own Simon de Souza, worked with our pupils on repertoire by Franz Strauss, Dukas, Cooke, Poulenc and Saint-Saens, sharing his expertise and experience.
All of the pupils excelled themselves and Tim commented on how enjoyable the day had been for him.
