Ferio Strike Hong Kong

The boys of Ferio*, the dynamic percussion ensemble, made quite an impact during their week-long tour to Hong Kong in April as part of Wells’ commitment to our charity there, the Wells Music Society of Hong Kong. The tour included a live Radio 3 broadcast at Radio Television Hong Kong with a spectacular ‘drum line’ rendition, an element repeated to wide acclaim during workshop visits to the Alliance Primary School, Kowloon Tong, the Jockey Club Sarah Roe special needs school and Chun Tok School for the Deaf. A showcase concert at the Hong Kong Academy for Performing Arts, which included solo performances by vocalist Honor Whiteley and pianist Cyrus Cheng, was a sell out with an overflow audience watching the recital on televised monitors. Next time we need a bigger space! Ferio* includes Tom, Tom, Sam, Flyer, William, Robert and Jerome.
