Drum Kit Day
35 musicians enjoyed a lively Drum Kit Day in Cedars Hall on Sunday, led by drum kit teacher and professional musician Andy Tween, with percussion teacher Jon Whitfield and a professional combo.
The youngsters participated in a variety of sessions on technique, performance, as well as a talk about life as a working drummer. The trade stand by Ev-entz proved popular and the final concert to parents and friends demonstrated many rhythmic styles including reggae and latin.
