Mendip Junior Cross Country League

The first race of this season’s Mendip Junior Cross Country League took place at Millfield Prep School on Tuesday 3rd October. Wells fielded a determined squad of young pupils, with girls and boys represented in each of the four group categories. The girls teams started particularly strongly, with the upper school girls’ team (Years 5 to 6) currently sitting in second place following the races; and the lower school girls’ team (Years 3 to 4) currently in third place. Congratulations to the following pupils, who came within the top 20 in their races: Lower school girls: Augusta (2nd), Willow (10th – Year 3), Darcy (17th) Lower school boys: Charlie (7) Upper school girls: Aeryn (5 – Year 5), Sian (6 – Year 5), Tabitha (15), Linsey (17 – Year 5), Georgia (20 – Year 5) Upper school boys: Ralf (15)
