Hosting the Royal Marines Band Service

This afternoon, Wells was proud to host the Royal Marines Band Service. First and foremost, these are Royal Marines, which involves considerably more than simply playing music. The Royal Marines have a vital role to play in the most challenging military operations, providing vital operational and logistical support for 3 Commando Brigade. Regarded as the world’s most versatile military music organisation, the Royal Marines Band Service is the public face of the Naval Service, playing at some of the most important ceremonial events.

As part of the visit, the Royal Marines Band Service rehearsed new repertoire with the school Marine Band in Cedars Hall.
