Mendip League Cross Country

Our Junior School pupils have been competing in this season’s Mendip League cross country league around the region, with particular success going to the Wells lower and upper girls’ teams at this half-way point in the championship.

Well done to all members of the Wells team and particular congratulations to the following pupils who have achieved top 30 rankings in the league races at Millfield Prep School and Shepton Mallet’s Collett Park before Christmas:

Lower Girls and Boys: Willow, Eva, Olivia, Lulu, Heidi, Tohar, Dior and Fergus

Upper Girls and Boys: Asta, Georgia, Linsey, Tilly, Aeryn, Charlie and Daniel

There are three more races to go in the closely-fought league, including those at Downside and Tor Leisure in Glastonbury later in the Spring. Good luck to all our runners.
