Inaugural Organ Recital

On Sunday, Wells Lower Sixth organists, François Cloete and June Rippon, gave the inaugural recital on the newly-installed Walker Organ in Quilter Hall. 

The organ was kindly donated to the School some four years ago by Mr Jim Cook, in memory of his brother, Richard who owned the instrument and who was a very keen organist.

June and François both played a selection of works by Bach and then pieces by Mendelssohn and Hindemith.
