Sandhurst STEM Fair

On Friday 27th September, 16 Wells pupils attended the Royal Military Academy, Sandhurst, STEM Careers Fair. The group took part in a panel discussion with four industry experts, where pupils took the opportunity to ask questions about life in industry; before exploring a variety of stands from industry-leading employers. 


The focus of the event was on STEM subjects: Science, Technology, Engineering, and Maths, with the aim of promoting career paths available in those fields. It was spread over two days, with 52 companies showcasing STEM careers to 2,000 visitors.

This year, the Princess Royal also attended the event, experiencing a tour of the stands that the pupils also enjoyed.

Wells Pupils found the event inspiring and look forward to more STEM events in the months ahead.
