Inter-House Public Speaking Competition
A packed Cedars Hall was thoroughly entertained by a range of stimulating presentations at our annual Inter-House Public Speaking Competition on Friday evening.
As a fitting climax to the celebration of St Andrew’s Day, 250 pupils were treated to a series of topics ranging from ‘Does Money bring Happiness?’ to ‘Parents should be kept off social media!’. Other subjects included the relevance of feminism today, the place of military intervention, the benefits of a Gap year, dystopian fiction and the consequences of a world that is getting smaller due to electronic communication.
