Badminton County Champions 

Congratulations to the Wells KS4 Boys’ Badminton team, who won the County round of the Badminton England National Schools Championships on Friday and were crowned Somerset champions. 

The tournament was held at Court Fields School in Wellington and Wells played teams from Haygrove School, Ansford Academy and The Castle School in Taunton. 

The team, comprising Year 10 pupil Jason Kong, Year 11 pupils Kevin Luk and Joshua Ng, and Year 12 pupil Hani Chui, played well and supported each other brilliantly. They will now go on to represent Somerset in the Regional rounds of the Championships.
