Shepton Mallet Snowdrop Poetry Festival 

Congratulations to Year 6 pupil Archie Blee whose poem The White Army was awarded a Highly Commended and a Schools’ Commendation at this year’s Shepton Mallet Snowdrop Poetry Festival.

Archie and his family will be attending the Prize-Giving and Readings at the Parish Church of St Peter and St Paul in Shepton Mallet, on Saturday 15th February, where Archie will be reading his poem aloud. The judge, Jane Draycott, will be presenting the certificates and the finalists will also receive a printed anthology of the shortlisted entries.
