Year 7 Science Challenge

Science pupils in Year 7 perfected their construction skills whilst learning about Forces on Thursday, when they designed 30x30cm square tinfoil boats to carry large numbers of marbles. Sophie Jackson and Keziah Whitehead designed a boat that carried the whole jar of marbles – all 97 of them! Hugo Paton-Freeman and Mike Gillbanks’ boat carried 57 marbles before it capsized. Forces in action!
