Live Streamed Popular & Commercial Music Concert
Among them they have recently featured on BBC radio and in the Song Academy Young Songwriter 2020 competition. We are proud to say that several pupils made it to the top 40 songs with Woody Collins receiving a Highly Commended prize and Hetta Falzon is through to the final 10 with results being announced in June.
The young musicians took the decision to present the show completely live, with no backing tracks allowed so pupils had to accompany themselves and perform ‘in the moment’. During lockdown, our pupils are missing the opportunity to perform to a live audience so were delighted that so many people joined the concert remotely and gave encouraging comments in lieu of applause!
