Senior Mathematics Challenge Golds 2020
Congratulations to four Senior Wells pupils who have achieved Gold Awards in this year’s Senior UK Mathematics Challenge: Jason Kong in Year 11, Joshua Ng in the Lower Sixth, and Harry Chantrey and Leo Li in the Upper Sixth.
38 Senior Wells pupils sat the challenge in early November, the majority of whom completed the paper in its usual paper format whilst a few completed the paper simultaneously remotely via a computer link. The top 10% achievers are awarded Gold Certificates by the UK Mathematics Trust, and are invited to take part in one of the follow-on rounds at the end of November. A further 11 Wells pupils were awarded Silver Certificates and 13 were awarded Bronze Certificates.
