International Piano Competition Winner
Congratulations to Lower Sixth pianist Bridget Yee, who has just been awarded First Prize in the prestigious Putra International Piano Competition, in the Piano Concerto Young Artist (19 and below) section, playing the first movement of the Ravel Piano Concerto in G.
The judging panel consisted of six members from five nations, included Armen Babakhanian, Ádám György and Julian Jacobson.
Competition was tough with entrants from 27 countries and prizes only awarded to pianists playing at the very highest standard.
