Over 100 Experiments collage 2c

Over 100 Experiments in 20 Minutes

The Science Department successfully completed the Captain Tom 100 challenge at lunch time on Wednesday: 8 pupils, one outstanding technician, 118 experiments completed.

The team set up a circus of 25 and the pupils worked together or in teams to complete as many experiments as they could in 30 minutes.

The experiments were all designed to be ‘experiments that you can do in your kitchen’ and ranged from tea bag lanterns to spinning eggs with fire, water and everything else in between. The challenge finished with all pupils throwing water balloons at Alan Davis and Charlotte Farmer. Fortunately, thanks to the power of physics, no one got wet!
