Nordic International Piano Competition Special Prize
Congratulations to Year 11 pianist Jeremy Sun, who was awarded a Special Prize for the Best Performance of a Nordic Piece in the Junior Talents (15 Years and Under) section of the prestigious Nordic International Piano Competition 2021.
Jeremy and Upper Sixth pianist Sejin Yoon in the Young Artists (18 Years and Under) section both reached the Finals in this online competition, which attracted a very high global entry of 193 young pianists.
The Nordic Piano Competition, based in Sweden, has been organised since 2002 in order to promote piano culture in the Nordic countries. The judging panel included Julia Mustonen-Dahlkvist, Piotr Paleczny and Eleanor Wong.
