Woodwind trip to Royal Birmingham Conservatoire
Woodwind pupils were treated to an inspiring day at the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire.
Wells oboists were invited to take part in a masterclass with Jonathan Kelly, principal oboe of the Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra. Saxophonists, clarinettists and recorder players took the opportunity to join the trip to have consultation lessons with professors at the Conservatoire including Naomi Sullivan, Annabel Knight and Douglas Mitchell as well as joining rehearsals and repertoire classes.
