Lily’s Cherubim Music Trust recital
Specialist Flautist Lily Owens (Year 11) performed a recital at London’s Savile Club for the Cherubim Music Trust who have pledged to support her in purchasing a much needed new instrument.
Lily is an outstanding performer and she enchanted the audience with a stunning memorised performance of Huw Watkins’ Flute Concerto, Samuel Barber’s Canzone and Jacob Gade’s Tango Fantasia. Following an overwhelming audience response, Lily played Paradis’ Sicilienne as the perfect encore.
