Kit’s orchestra experiences

During the Easter holidays, cellist Kit Cookson (Lower Sixth) took part in sectional rehearsals in Cardiff as a member of the National Youth Orchestra of Wales (NYOW) 2023, and was also awarded the Irwyn Walters Award for most promising String player of the Orchestra’s 2022 residency. Furthermore, Kit was invited as a guest to join the National Youth Orchestra of Great Britain (NYO GB)’s spring residency at Uppingham School as part of their Ignite! project.
