Horn Day
It is only once in a blue moon that you might see 40 French Horn players marching across Wells to play for a flashmob, but this actually took place as part of Wells Horn Day (and they even played Blue Moon for the performance!).
The day saw young players travel across the UK to Wells for masterclasses and performances with Simon de Souza, Letty Stott and Old Wellensian Dave Oxley.
It was a wonderful celebration of horns and horn-players, with thanks to Ross Brown, Co-ordinator of Brass, Trumpet and Natural Trumpet, for organising and Paxman Horns for their support of the day!
