Badminton players represent Somerset
Four Wells Badminton players were selected to represent Somerset in the U19 Shires League.
Congratulations to Hana (Lower Sixth), Nicole, Kingsley and Aidan (Upper Sixth) who played against Avon and Gloucestershire in games hosted at the School on Sunday 28th January.
Everyone fought hard in their games, with Aidan and Nicole both going to three games in their singles before unfortunately losing in the third end. Aidan teamed up with Hana and Kingsley with Nicole in the mixed games, working hard together but ultimately overcome by stronger opponents. Kingsley and Aidan did, however, have a brilliant win in their doubles against a Gloucestershire pair.
