Year 8’s German vegan cooking
On the last day of the Epiphany Term, Mrs Alabiso’s Year 8 German class had a rather different lesson than usual – the group went to the kitchen in Haversham House to cook vegan food, in German!
As part of a sustainable cooking competition, pupils enjoyed cooking something they chose or created in groups, and, using words they’ve learned this year, filmed an introduction and listed their ingredients in German. They are currently editing their videos with the competition closing on Thursday 29th February.
If the class wins, the top prize is a cooking workshop with German vegan cooking influencer Maya (FitGreenMind)!
