Team Maths challenges
Pupils in Years 10 and 11 represented Wells at team Maths competitions in March.
Archie and Maria (Year 10) spent the afternoon at Millfield School with Ellie and Nathan (Year 11), competing in rounds of head-to-head challenges, fizz buzz with a twist and shuttle races. Ernest, Maria, Bella and Benedicta (Year 10) travelled further afield to Bridport for the School’s first visit to the Advanced Mathematics Support Programme (AMSP) Maths Feast, performing well against tough opposition and winning the ‘Mad Hatters’ round.
