Somerset Youth Orchestra Easter course

Wells was well represented at the Somerset Youth Orchestra Easter course during the School holidays. Following four days of rehearsals, the group brilliantly performed a challenging programme including Shostakovich’s Symphony Number 10 and Gershwin’s Rhapsody in Blue at a concert in St John’s Church, Glastonbury. Year 5 pupils Emmy and Lina were among the youngest ever members of the orchestra, with Emmy celebrating her 10th birthday during the course!
