Alex delivers Suzuki Method talk in Music Seminar
On Monday 29th April, Lower Sixth pupil Alex gave a fantastic talk on the Suzuki Method in Music Seminar.
Alex’s presentation focussed upon his own personal journey, learning using methods taken from the Suzuki Method and encouraged by his parents, one of whom is a Suzuki teacher. Alex then went on to illustrate the value of this training in his musical career to date, including the teaching of blind musicians during the recent Sierra Leone trip. Alex discussed eight principles of the Suzuki method, including the central ideas that musical ability comes through hard work and effort, and the need for participants to trust the process.
An inspiring presentation – thank you, Alex!
