Junior Mathematical Olympiad
Following the recent UK Junior Maths Challenge, Zino (Year 8) was the automatic qualifier for the Junior Mathematical Olympiad. He was joined by Michael and Cameron (Year 8) to face a two hour challenge consisting of 16 problems, six of which required full written solutions. Across the country around 1200 other pupils from Years 7 and 8 took the Olympiad paper. All three Wells pupils produced perfect scores for one of the section B questions, which is superb. Congratulations to Michael and Cameron for achieving a merit award.
