Oboe and Bassoon Day
Sunday 13th October was our second Oboe and Bassoon Extravaganza featuring nearly 70 young double reed players who finished the day by performing the brilliant educational piece Duck to Diva by Teresa Barlow. Leading the day were our brilliant Wells tutors Liz Fyfe and Connie Tanner alongside Jenni Phillips and Anna Cooper from Birmingham Conservatoire and 16 of their senior double reed students. Pupils of all ages and stages participated including 10 complete beginners who also took part in the concert.
