Team Bath Netball match
On Friday 7th February, a group of 70 girls from Years 5 to the Upper Sixth went to watch Team Bath Netball play Nottingham Forest Netball at the University of Bath. The game was fast-paced, exciting and showcased some fantastic talent from the South West. It was brilliant to hear the girls commenting on the level of the game and also highlighting things they were seeing on court that we have been working on in lessons.
Mrs Williams, Head of Netball, comments, “I am so pleased the girls were able to see this standard of Netball on our doorstep and the level they can aspire to reach. This is the start of a new era of Netball in the UK, with fewer teams competing in the Superleague this year and Team Bath being one of them, however the new NEXGEN League proved to be an exceptional level and we cannot wait to see more. If you can get yourself along to a game, it will be worth it!”
