Rugby round up
Gabriel C and Miller J (Lower Sixth) both represented Somerset U17 against Devon in May. Despite a tough first half Somerset rallied well and won the second half, with Miller and Gabriel producing strong carries, excellent lifting in the lineouts and both making good line breaks in the game. Keon Y (Lower Sixth) also represented Somerset U17s against Cornwall while elsewhere, after representing Bath U17s against Sale Sharks and Leicester Tigers (scoring a goal in the latter!), Harry H (Lower Sixth) has been selected for the Bath U18 squad ahead of their pre-season summer camp. On Sunday 18th May, Year 10 pupils Matthew F, Tom H and Zak M played in an internal Bath Academy festival. Matthew and Tom have been selected for the Bath U16 Academy squad ahead of next season, and Tom H (Year 10) for the Bristol Bears equivalent.
