Musicians Perform at our Annual Promenade Concerts
Last week, our Musicians performed brilliantly in the magnificent Wells Cathedral for three Promenade Concerts: Brass and Percussion, Woodwind and Strings, and Early Music.
The Brass and Percussion Promenade was dedicated to Paul Denegri as a celebration of his thirty years service to Wells Cathedral School, and everyone was delighted that Paul was able to join us for the concert. The Woodwind and Strings Promenade illustrated a wonderful collaboration between departments with beautiful pieces, which include works by Bridge, Debussy and Dvorak. The Early Music Promenade culminated the week’s music making, filling the Cathedral with sounds from the Baroque and the Renaissance periods with music by Byrd, Bach and Handel.
