More About You Essay

To help us to get to know you better, please handwrite a couple of paragraphs on ONE of the following topics:

  • Recount an incident or time when you experienced failure. How did it affect you, and what lessons did you learn?
  • Some pupils have a background or story that is so central to their identity that they believe their application would be incomplete without it. If this sounds like you, then please share your story.
  • Some pupils have a person whom they find inspirational. This could be an athlete, musician, artist, academic or person that you know. Choose your inspirational person. What qualities does this person demonstrate that you would like to develop?
  • Imagine that you had to explain your passion for your chosen scholarship field to an alien. What would you say?

Please include the candidate’s name and date of birth on their essay. Once complete, please email [email protected] a photo or scan of the essay.
